Trips & Tours
Enriching the musical experience far beyond the classroom, Ardingly College organises a wide range of musical excursions and performance opportunities throughout the school year. From educational visits to West End productions and the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, to the annual overseas choir tour, regular visits to local schools, care homes and hospitals, pupils are encouraged to engage with music in diverse and meaningful ways. These experiences immerse young musicians in the performance, study and appreciation of live music, broadening their horizons, inspiring creativity and fostering a lifelong love of music.
Music@Ardingly
Ardingly College fosters an environment of musical excellence through its Music@Ardingly programme. Throughout the academic year, the College welcomes professional musicians and ensembles for masterclasses, workshops and concerts. Recent visitors have included Ensemble Reza, Brass Funkeys, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Apollo5, Harry the Piano, Classico Latino and Tredegar Brass Band. These enriching opportunities allow students to engage directly with leading performers and industry professionals, gaining inspiration and insight from musicians at the forefront of their profession.
