Trips & Tours
Enriching the musical experience, Ardingly College organizes a myriad of excursions for musicians throughout the school year. The Chapel Choir, with its enchanting voices, graces cathedrals, including Winchester, St. Paul’s, and Chichester. Music Scholars often perform locally, attend concerts in London and Brighton, and participate in annual international choir tours. Recent destinations include Vienna, Prague, Malta, Jersey, Belgium and Holland.
Music@Ardingly
Ardingly College fosters an environment of musical excellence through the Music@Ardingly program. Throughout the academic year, the College welcomes professional musicians for masterclasses, workshops, and concerts. This diverse array spans local rock bands, professional opera singers, and national ensembles such as the Haffner Ensemble and NYJO. Students have the unique opportunity to engage in specialist masterclasses with dynamic musicians at the pinnacle of their professional careers. Past and upcoming musicians include the Tredegar Brass Band, Haffner Ensemble, NYJO, Ensemble Reza, Harry the Piano, The Last Carnival, The Apollo Saxophone Quartet, and Mark Stone.
