Cricket at Ardingly
At Ardingly, we offer an exceptional cricket program for both boys and girls, catering to all levels of experience and skill. We prioritise a supportive and enjoyable learning environment, fostering a coaching philosophy that empowers players to reach their full potential. We firmly believe in the power of sports to instil essential life skills, including teamwork, discipline, and self-belief.
We provide comprehensive training throughout the year, including winter training from October to March, personalised 1-on-1 coaching during both winter and summer, and exciting global cricket tours to Cape Town and Manchester in 2025. Our players have access to top-notch facilities, including indoor and outdoor nets, a 1st-class quality cricket square, and four additional grass cricket squares.
Our commitment to excellence has led to the development of professional 1st class cricketers, including Ben Brown (Sussex and Hampshire CCC), Abi Sakande (Sussex CCC), and Tom Clark (Sussex CCC).
Led by exceptional coaches Jordan Rollings (ECB Level 4) and Charlie Forbes (ECB Level 2), our cricket program provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where young players can develop their skills, build confidence, and discover a lifelong passion for the sport.

Official Partner of Sussex Cricket
Ardingly College is delighted to announce a new partnership with Sussex Cricket, a collaboration designed to widen access to outstanding cricket facilities and opportunities for young people across the County.
The partnership is built around a shared commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and long-term growth, providing year-round access to high-quality cricket facilities for children from both state and independent education. It aims to remove historic barriers to participation and help create a more representative and sustainable future for the game in Sussex.
Our partnership with Sussex Cricket marks an exciting new chapter for cricket at Ardingly and builds on our long-standing relationship with the County club. Old Ardinian Tom Clark is the most recent cricketer in a long and distinguished line of former Ardingly students to represent Sussex, and we are proud of the strong connections that already exist between our communities.
